Hello there! I’m Andrew and I make videos about electric vehicles and eco home tech with my fiery family. I’m currently driving a second-hand Kia e-Niro which I bought at auction, but have been on several long-distance electric road trips with the wonderful Hyundai IONIQ 5, Tesla Model 3, Peugeot e-208, Kia e-Niro, Renault Scenic, the VW ID.7, and most recently the Smart #5. Who says long distance travel in an EV is difficult?

We have a heat pump! Vaillant aroTHERM Plus install
2026-10-17We've been in our bungalow for two years and all that time it's been heated with electric radiators. Not the cheapest way to heat a house! We now have an air-to-water heat pump which should cost a quarter what the electric radiators do. The only problem? A lot of pipework. Will my wife be happy?
